What is Aadhar Card?

This card is issued by the UIDAI govt. body of INDIA that includes the random 12 digit number to the residence of INDIA after a verification process and some data collection of the Individual such as retina scan and fingerprint are to be stored as the collection of data.

You are also to be asked for the demographic information of yourself which involves :


Name of individual
Age 
Gender
Address
Mobile no
Email (optional)


And biometric information such as :

Iris scan
Fingerprint data (all ten fingers)
Photograph (one)


This card can help people to get direct services from the government with 100% transparency.
Also, this card can be used for the permanent financial address and facilitates underprivileged and weaker section of the society.
It has been a major role in governing the 'Digital INDIA' motive with every resident of the country with a unique identity.

Once the Aadhar card is ready it will be sent to your address by the post within 90 days, as many people daily apply for the same so 90 days of prior period is set to send all the cards at your doorstep of an each and every individual of the INDIA.

Visit an Aadhaar enrolment centre near you. There you need to fill a form, submit your biometric details along with documents, the proof of identity and the proof of address. That's all the process will begin to get your new Aadhar card.

Passbook of Kisan
Certificate of Marriage
A document containing proof of the marriage of the applicant issued originally by the marriage Registrar
Legally approved name change certificate
ECHS Photocard
Identity Certificate containing the photo of the applicant on a proper letterhead issued by Tehsildar
Either a handicapped medical certificate or a disability Identification card that is issued by the State Government, the UT Government or any such Administration
