One can easily link their Ration card to their Aadhaar card just they have to follow some of the steps below.
It is important to link both the card as Ration card is being the oldest and important card to our country.
There are various ways to connect the card stated below:

HOW TO LINK AN AADHAAR CARD WITH THE RATION CARD OFFLINE

STEP 1: Visit the nearest PDS shop or Ration shop with the photocopies of your Ration card along with the copies of Aadhaar card of all the family members and a passport size photo of the head of the family 

STEP 2: In case that your bank isn't linked to the Aadhaar you should also submit the copy of your bank passbook. After submitting all the forms and documents at the PDS shop the representative ask you to give the fingerprint authentication for the first-time Aadhaar authentication

STEP 3: Once the documents are submitted an SMS notification will be sent to your registered mobile number, you will receive another notification when the two documents are successfully linked.


HOW TO LINK THE AADHAAR CARD WITH THE RATION SHOP CARD ONLINE

Now you can also link the Aadhaar to your ration card with the help of the internet and from anywhere

STEP 1: Visit the official website of your state's PDS Portland enter the Ration card number

STEP 2: Now enter the Aadhaar number too with registered mobile number 

STEP 3: Click on the continue button to proceed, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number

STEP 4: Enter the OTP Received to submit your request for ration card Aadhaar link.
