HOW TO APPLY FOR AADHAAR CARD

Step by step process to apply for the Aadhaar card in INDIA. The applicant is required to provide the necessary information /details about himself at the time of Aadhaar enrolment.

  1. Visit Aadhaar enrolment centre

At the Aadhaar enrolment centre authorised by the UIDAI, you need to submit the (POI) Proof Of Identity and (POA) Proof Of Address.

  1. Fill the Aadhaar enrolment form 

Once you reach the centre you need to submit the Aadhaar enrolment form which is free of cost to download Aadhaar enrollment form CLICK HERE.

  1. Data collection

Once the form is submitted the process of enrolment takes place. Now the next step is to submit your real-time photograph and at the enrollment centre fingerprint scan of all ten fingers and iris scan takes place. Make sure that the given data is valid and up to date.

  1. Acknowledgement slip is provided

Once the data is collected you will be given the slip that can be used to collect the original copy of the Aadhaar card.
The slip contains the enrollment number which is used to check the Aadhaar Card Status Online

  1. Aadhaar card dispatch

Once the verification process is done you will receive an SMS or notification through the email and the Aadhaar card is ready to be sent to your doorstep.
From the date of enrolment, the Aadhaar card took up 90 days of the arrival of time. So don't rush so fast.
