iPhone vs Android

ANDROID vs IPHONE: Which is the best

-S KUSHAGRA

While purchasing the mobile phone you definitely look for the best options in the market. Considering which could be the best one, you end up buying it with the wrong decision or so which may or may not suit your needs.
Well, don't worry It goes on with many of you guys. So in this blog, we will be talking about an in-depth review of both of them according to their needs. There is an endless debate between these two.
Two most prominent operating system will definitely be running in smartphones IOS(if you IPHONE) and ANDROID (if you go for others). No doubt both of them are very promising in their own but some of the advantages and disadvantages make the difference here lying them on different benchmarks
Here we have tried to clear the major factors which can create ease of understanding you to choose in between both next time when you go to buy a new smartphone

WHY IPHONE :

App optimisation: Someone who had just jumped from Android to IOS he can relate this easily that the inbuilt applications and the third party apps work so well that is easily noticeable, the difference is the smoothness of the function and app optimisation with the inbuilt processor/chip that is manufactured itself by Apple

I've used both the devices so I can relate it easily, while some of you may not agree with this, but believe me Apple had done a great job enhancing limitations of their processor to the next level providing the user with a better interface while that on Android it sometimes feels laggy and the processor might not standing on your verdict.

Apps blocking: Their's lot of applications for both Android and iPhone and you can find millions of them on both Google's play store as well as Apple's app store which. Many of them are useful while some of them are just created to breach the security of your phone.

In this condition, the Apple's security comes into work and highly blocked the apps that may cause some error to your phone, on the other hand, Android doesn't perform such tasks. It's on your own risk to manage the applications you installed.

Bloatware free device: Right from the booting of your new Iphone you won't see any bloatware that is pre-installed in it to reduce the space of your device, but this can be seen most of the other Android device which causes malware or adware reducing the space and memory.

Even it the higher variants of mobile you'll find some of the space which is disturbing and reduces the mobility of your device

Updates: IOS offers most of the security patches and updates timely. This updates help them to provide mobility to the user and makes it more friendly. While that on Android you will get the updates after a long time and most of the Android devices get slow by time. They needed to boost up by the updates providing smoothness to the device so that it could last longer
.
You will be surprised to know that most of the Android device doesn't even support updates for Android 10 while that on IOS 6s which was introduced in 2015 still works on the latest updates by the Apple.

Accessibility: Both of them offers a great user interface no doubt but somehow Apple offers the most relevant and unique form of presenting the app in all the devices. Its uniqueness makes it easier for a user to access the passage of using Apple over Android.

Camera: Talking about the camera quality, of course, any other device would beat Apple. The image stabilization offered by Apple makes the textures smooth and the inbuilt IOS feature of Apple does a great job here. While the image is processed it captures the light, colour, and details accordingly and by this, you get a tremendous video or image quality.

While that on Android it doesn't offer a broad range of image capturing and processing. There’s more variation on Android simply because manufacturers tend to add their own camera apps with lots of features but this doesn't rely on comparison with Apple's Iphone

Voice assistant: Last but not the least (the SIRI). You can do many things with Apple's Siri as well as with the Google Assistant but Siri makes it handier, and convenient to the user. The addition of Siri Shortcuts in iOS 12, which allows you to set up voice commands to trigger groups of automated tasks, is a big step in the right direction and Siri is also beginning to make more suggestions based on your iPhone usage.

For now, however, Google Assistant can do more and seems to be improving at a much faster rate, offering things like call screening and the ability to make reservations for you.

WHY ANDROID:

Battery : This the most important factor where Android beats Apple. You would be aware of the price of Apple devices .today the cheapest price for the 2020 SE is $399 and 42500 in INR.

At this price, they last for 6 to 7 hrs at continuous usage but people with Android user to get the same rate of battery life at a minimum cost. Android devices at $120 to $100 easily give you the same lifespan to the user which could be a better idea to invest if you want to use it as a power source for a day to your device at a cheaper price

Affordability: Comparing both the Apple and Android you will notice a huge price difference. Apple where offers it's most affordable device SE 2020 at 42500 INR /$399 which ranges up to $2000 of their Macbooks which many of them find worse on spending such huge amount, on the other hand, you will find cheap and affordable rates of the devices ranging from $100/ 7000 INR to $700/ 50000 INR max to max in which you get brands like SAMSUNG's GALAXY NOTE Blackberry's lineups which offer the most affordable device with a great user interface and premium look. So why one would spend on Iphone when you can get a maximum feature in Android devices.

Maps: As the newer navigation system, Apple Maps did not have a great start, but it has improved significantly. Key features are similar, you can download maps for offline use, get accurate estimates based on current traffic conditions, and find turn-by-turn directions for driving or walking. You’ll also find public transit and ride-booking integration. They all work well and should get you where you’re going.

One thing that Google Maps offers that Apple Maps doesn’t is cycling directions. Overall, the scale and quality of Google Maps are unsurpassed. It has more points of interest and it is generally more detailed than Apple Maps, but the accuracy can vary from place to place. Given the choice, we’d always pick Google Maps, and though you can get it on iOS, it’s better on Android because it’s the default navigation app.

Backing up photos: Backing up photos would never be ease on Apple. If you use the Photos app in Android, then you can automatically back up all your photos and videos. There’s no doubt that Google Photos is the best option because it offers unlimited free storage, provided you don’t mind the 16-megapixel limit for images and the 1080p resolution limit for video.

You can back up photos and videos at the original resolution with iCloud or Google Photos, but you only get 5GB of free space with iCloud, compared to 15GB with Google

Cheap cloud storage: You are provided cheap cloud storage here. As you are aware of today's need in a mobile device is stored and it gets full with lots and lots of the images, docs, files and videos so Google here provided a good solution to have cloud storage and delivering it at cheap price or mostly free through which you can create or store backup for your important files and data and access at any time you want to.

Extra storage:Many Android phones offer expandable storage that allows using microSD card that keeps photos, apps and other media that won't fit on your device's internal memory which are very less in pricing factor when compared to Apple's storage where you have to pay extra $100 to $200 for the specific storage purpose.

Android gave you the solution here of expanding up your storage whether you end up buying a low storage device or so, just you have to buy an external storage card which is easily available at stores, insert it and you are ready to use it as you want.

Headphone jack: The last and one the most important thing where Android beats Apple is our headphone jack. Many of us are a big fan of those wired headphones/ earphones which has been vanished from the Apple products, even if you prefer to use the wireless one, dollars are to be paid to buy those expensive products. And just listening to music anyone is not that much crazy to spend a hell lot of cash.

While on the Androids we get similar 3.5mm jack which is ready to use, just simply plug and play. It makes more practical to give a port like that on the devices. Apple should really have to think about this.

CONCLUSION...

It’s very difficult to compare the two. Because Apple controls the hardware and the software, you’ll find that iOS offers a more uniform experience across devices.

A straight comparison of the latest versions of Android and iOS wouldn’t be very representative of most people’s experience, because most Android devices aren’t running the latest version. The experience you get is further complicated by the fact that most Android smartphone manufacturers add their own user interface on top of Google’s stock Android

If you do decide to go with an Android device, make sure you do a little research and look at the version of Android it runs, the manufacturer skin on top, and the manufacturer’s record for software updates.

Ultimately, different categories will be important to different people, so you should pay attention to the ones that count for you and make your decision based on that. If security and privacy are an important factor, then the iPhone is the obvious choice. If battery life tops your list and you want to be able to customize your phone, then choose Android. Both Android and iOS are mature, feature-packed platforms with far more similarities than differences.
